Hercule Poirot
Hercule Poirot is a fictional Belgian private detective created by the British writer Agatha Christie, appearing in 33 novels, one play, and more than 50 short stories published between 1920 and 1975. Renowned for his "little grey cells," his immaculate appearance, and his idiosyncratic mannerisms, Poirot ranks among the most famous and enduring characters in detective fiction and served as one of the two signature detectives of Agatha Christie, alongside Miss Marple.
