BCE (disambiguation)
BCE is a three-letter abbreviation that may refer to several different concepts. In English-language historical and scientific dating it usually denotes Before Common Era, but the same initials are also used for companies, government bodies, educational institutions, transport facilities, and specialized terms.
Calendar era
- Before Common Era (BCE) – a calendar-era designation equivalent to BC (“Before Christ”) but without explicitly Christian wording. It is normally paired with Common Era (CE), which corresponds to AD.
